Kibuye

This is the place where you can go and visit Napoleon's island in Kivu Lake while on a boat ride. This island is shaped like his hat which has a colony fruit bats.

Apart from this, there is Mukura forest around Kibuye in which we have 5 types of birds: ravens, eagles, wild hens, doves and so on, different small animal like wolves, monkies, foxes and so on , different kinds of trees and their names, a water fall called Ndaba. In this forest one has to discover the place where the former king Ruganzu footed and destroyed stones by his feet. This king was very strong in weigh and was reigning in Rwanda in 18th century Apart from these these, there are more attractions in Kibuye such as Ndaba Falls, Amahoro island and the big market that works only on Friday.
