Isiro Tour

This is the closest town to Garamba National Park in which we have Rhinos. The town is also the home of the first beatified Congolese female Marie Clementine Anuarite Nangapeta, who was killed by Simba rebels in 1964. Pope John Paul II traveled to Kinshasa in 1985 to complete the beatification ceremony. Her body was buried in Isiro at the Catholic Church.
